I gained experience with Shopify Liquid, attended business meetings, and communicated with clients to implement specifications for both backend and frontend functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/evelyndrake\/musicmatch\">Music Match<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A web app in the style of a dating app which matches users to music they might enjoy based on their preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/evelyndrake\/catchat\">KittyChat<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>An instant messaging app similar to Discord and Slack with a variety of cute, fun features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ttpd-variant-tracker.onrender.com\/\">TTPD Variant Tracker<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tracks the total number of different versions of Taylor Swift&#8217;s <em>The Tortured Poet&#8217;s Department<\/em>. Information sourced from user-uploaded data on Discogs. Featured in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salon.com\/2024\/06\/15\/fans-are-accusing-taylor-swift-of-intentionally-blocking-charli-xcx-from-a-1-debut\/\">Salon!<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/evelyndrake\/ttpd-variant-tracker\">Find the Github reponsitory here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/goldfish-app-ah94n.ondigitalocean.app\/\">Plant Watering App<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I made this for my Software Engineering course as a group project. It includes account functionality, adding plants from a preset list or custom definitions, specifying watering times, receiving watering reminders via email, social\/friends functionality, gamification with &#8220;watering streaks,&#8221; and daily recipes sent via email using the user&#8217;s plants as ingredients. The tech stack includes Express.js (routing), Node.js (backend), React + Bootstrap components (frontend), MongoDB Atlas (databases), Jest (unit testing), Typescript\/Javascript, cron (task scheduling), Github Actions (CI\/CD pipeline), and DigitalOcean (hosting\/deployment).  <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/evelyndrake\/Journal\">Find <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/evelyndrake\/csds393\">the Github repository here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/evelyndrake\/CDDA-Item-Browser\">Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead Item Browser<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A simple utility to view information about the items in the survival RPG <em>Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead<\/em>. Written entirely in Rust with a GUI implementation accomplished through <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/emilk\/egui\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/github.com\/emilk\/egui\">egui<\/a>. Still adding features!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/evelyndrake\/Infographic\">Online Pokedex<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A simple online implementation of a <a href=\"https:\/\/bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net\/wiki\/Pok%C3%A9dex\">Pokedex<\/a>. I made this for a class project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/evelyndrake\/badbagssite\">Bags Board<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This site was created by me as part of my volunteer work for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pppgh.org\/\">Prevention Point Pittsburgh<\/a>. It is a frequently-updated database of drug samples found within the Pittsburgh area.
